Now Wash Your Hands! began as a hand washing poster I did for schools at the start of the COVID 19 pandemic, based on the terrible joke that octopuses have more ‘hands’ to wash than other people! Scholastic contacted me to see if I could develop a book based around Doris the Doctorpus and said could i do it in six weeks!
