It all began with me and my middle daughter in the park and a crow who hopped out of our way and me saying “Look a scared crow.” That gave me an idea and I set to work on my first kids book. I had a bit of commission from my printer and I self published it in late 2013 and had a great time publicising it on twitter. Russell the Scared Crow has led me on to so many amazing things so i’ll always be grateful to my little corvid friend!
